Chef Adam Shepard’s new sibling to his successful Brooklyn joint, Lunetta, has arrived in Manhattan.
The menu is a scrapbook of Italian-American classics: homey and rustic in nature, seasonal in execution. Shepard's creative approach to this culinary genre is evident throughout the menu.
Dishes such as Fried Artichokes with Lemon & Herbs, Eggplant Parmigiana, Tagliatelle with Braised Pork & Short Rib Ragout and Meatballs in Toasted Garlic Tomato Sauce take on a new
flavor profile in Shepard’s hands. The all Italian wine list features little known regions with an emphasis on small vintners and organic producers.
Lunetta is an homage -- in style as well as cuisine -- to mid-century New York Italian restaurants.
Dramatic chandeliers hang low and give intimacy to a large airy space. Chocolate leather banquettes are paired with marble tables on a bold black and white checked floor.
The color palette boasts soothing greens, rich creams and "root beer” ceramic tiles and a sexy bar is all curves with gleaming brass accents.
Open for lunch, brunch (Saturday & Sunday) and dinner 7 days a week, Lunetta is a perfect spot to meet for any occasion at any time of day.
Nestled in the heart of Flatiron district on the corner of 21st and Broadway, Lunetta is conveniently between Union Square and Madison Square Park.
Lunetta is located in Manhattan at 920 Broadway
and is easily accessible by foot, car or subway:
